7. Personal data (GDPR)

The data controller is HIRAYA. Data is collected through the website's forms:

Private chef booking: name, email, phone, address of the service, menu, number of guests, time slot, access instructions and, if you wish, allergies or dietary requirements.
Bento order: name, email, phone, delivery address (or collection), items ordered and notes.
Quote request: type of occasion, name, email, phone, number of guests, date, venue and message.

Legal basis: processing relies on pre-contractual steps taken at your request and on the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as on our legal accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Allergy information is optional: by providing it, you consent to its use for the sole purpose of adapting your menu (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Retention: quote requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for 3 years after the last contact; booking and order data for the duration of the business relationship plus 3 years; accounting records for 10 years. Payments are processed by Stripe: HIRAYA never has access to your full card details.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@hirayaparis.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). Full details are in our privacy policy.

8. Cookies

This website uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools. It keeps a single technical flag in your browser (the opening animation has already been shown), which contains no personal data. During payment, our provider Stripe sets cookies that are strictly necessary for the security of the transaction. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
