futatsu no taiyō, two suns
The house of Hiraya
Two islands, two suns,
one harmony.
Hiraya is two people and one dream: Japanese seafood cuisine, lifted by the flavours of the Philippines. Catering and bespoke experiences for private clients and companies, where the freshness of the fish and the work on flavour remain our only demands.
The name Hiraya Manawari

ヒラヤHiraya, in katakana
Hiraya Manawari in Baybayin
Hiraya comes from Hiraya Manawari, an expression in old Tagalog: “May your wishes come true.” Two islands, two suns, one harmony — Japan and the Philippines, at the same table.
- 01May your aspirations be fulfilled
- 02May your dreams take shape
- 03May your intentions come true
Fish first Philosophy
魚sakana — fish

The chef’s devotion to fish borders on obsession — its freshness, its texture, the tide that carries it all the way to the plate. To him, sushi remains the truest gesture to reveal it: clean, precise, without artifice.
Filipino by birth, he carries that heritage into every bite: an echo of flavour and memory that warms Japanese rigour without ever clouding it.

The rigour of Japanese craft,
the warmth of a true welcome,
the flavours of the Philippines.
Two islands, two suns, one harmony.
